Borders M.E. Group offers advice, support and social contact to anyone in the Scottish Borders and adjacent areas who has M.E. (myalgic encephalomyelitis), chronic fatigue syndrome or fibromyalgia; and also to their carers and relatives. We know that friends matter, and we are here to share, to listen, to exchange information, and to be your voice. Here are Michelle's comments on how BMEG helped her:

'BMEG has been a tower of support for me and I've made great friends along the way too. I feel much stronger as a person now and much more able to cope with things, as I get so much support from people who actually know what I'm going through. It's the best thing I've done to help myself and has been an invaluable experience'.

We have informal monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of the month between 12.30 and 3.00 in Garden Centres where you can meet people who know what it is like to have M.E., chronic fatigue syndrome, or fibromyalgia; and where you can be sure of a warm welcome. Dates and venues for August to December 2019 are:

13th August: Pearsons, Duns

10th September: Mayfield Garden Centre, Kelso

8th October: Milestone Garden Centre, Newtown St Boswells

12th November: Pearsons, Duns

10th December: Mayfield Garden Centre, Kelso (Christmas Lunch)
